Jewell D. Lovelady Obituary (1908

Jewell D. Lovelady, 92, of Dover, AR, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Russellville Nursing Center in Russellville. The daughter of John and Nettie Humphrey Newton, she was born April 14, 1908 in Hagarville, AR. She was a Homemaker. She was a Life member of the Dover United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George E. Lovelady (they married on December 6, 1925 at the Howard community) and was also preceded in death by husband, George E. Lovelady; a son, James Paul Lovelady; a granddaugher, Sandra Lovelady; two grandsons, Randy Lovelady and Samuel Kilburn; four brothers, Wilson, J.L., Mark and Archie & 2 sisters. Survivors include two daughters and one son in law, Wilma F. Lovelady of Dover, Joann and Clyde Kilburn of Dover; one son and daughter in law, George W. and Eunice Lovelady of Dover; three grandchildren and spouses, Marsha and Dr. Lee Hinson of Little Rock, Dan and Marsha Lovelady of Dover, Mark and Becky KIlburn of Little Rock; six great grandchildren, Alex Hinson of Little Rock, Katherine Hinson of Little Rock, Paul Lovelady of Dover, Taylor Lovelady of Dover, Brooke Kilburn of Little Rock, Tanner Kilburn of Little Rock; one brother and spouse, Earl and Genevie Newton of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Ila Elliott of St. Louis, Jean Kaiser of Cape Girardeau; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Friday at the Dover United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Bob Freeman. Burial will be at the McFadden Cemetery at Dover, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
