Kathy Ann (Dowdy) Chisum Obituary (1963 - 2019)

Kathy Ann Chisum, 56, of Russellville, died Monday, May 20, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at her home. A daughter of Joseph and Dorothyelene (Dixon) Dowdy, she was born March 9, 1963, in Russellville. She was a production line team mate at the Tyler Road Tyson Facility. Kathy loved spending time with family and kids, and her greatest joy was in giving to others. She attended the Damascus Assembly of God Church. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Dowdy; and a nephew, Daniel Denney. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tesia Moore (Frank) of Hector; four sisters, Debbie Parsons (Jerry) of Dardanelle; Freda Denney of Russellville; Shelia Hilburn of Pottsville; and, Brenda Odgers (John) of Russellville; two grandchildren, Colten & Brailei Moore; her mother, Dorothy Dowdy; two nephews, Joseph Dale and Keith Parsons; one niece, Stacy Nason; three great nephews, Chance Callahan, Skylar Nason, and Zander Denney; and one great niece, Erica Dale. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, May 24, 2019, at Humphrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Chisum and Frank Moore will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home.
