Kenneth James Hampton

Kenneth James Hampton, 76, of Dover, AR, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at St. Mary's Reg. Med. Center in Russellville, AR. The son of Walter and Ruby Solomon Hampton, he was born December 27, 1943 in Mt. Judea, AR. He was a Carpenter by trade. He attended the Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. He also enjoyed gold digging, and metal detecting. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joyce Hampton, Darlene Hampton.

He is survived by a daughter Carrie Williams and his son Kendall Hampton and wife, Tonya both of Dover. Grandchildren Richard Short and wife, Lisa; Cody Hampton and wife, Meagan all of Dover. One Great Grandchild, Callen Short. Six brothers: Roy Hampton (Linda), Jim Hampton (Judy), Donald Hampton, Ronnie Hampton (Carol), Joseph Hampton, and David Hampton. Three sisters: Donna Pentzer (Jerry), Carolyn Brown (Rick), and Belinda Myers (Randy). As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A private family graveside service will be held at Coleman Cemetery. Richard Short will officiate. Burial will be at Coleman Cemetery in Pelsor, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Internet obituary and on-line guest book are available at www.humphreyfuneral.com.
