LaDon Bryant Obituary (1936 - 2014) - Russellville, Arkansas

LaDon Bryant, 78, of Russellville, AR, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, AR. The son of Olan and Vida Winningham Bryant, he was born March 9, 1936 in Fermosa, AR. He was a High School graduate of Center Ridge High School. He married Nita Mae Dane on December 3, 1955 at the First Assembly of God in Covina, CA. He was an Owner/Operator of his own trucking company. He was a football coach for Pop Warner. He was a member of the Covina Baptist Church in Covina, CA. He enjoyed Fishing, hunting, watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, gardening, playing cards and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Nita Bryant of Russellville; three sons, Larry Bryant and wife, Karen of Pottsville, Robert Bryant and wife, Beth of Parker, CO, Rick Bryant and Marilyn Gaston of Russellville; four grandchildren, LaDawna Bryant, Kari Chronister and husband, Drew, Andrea Anders, and Stephanie Bryant; three great grandchildren, Kallie Bryant, Brayden Chronister, and Adalynn Chronister Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, March 21, 2014 at Humphrey Chapel. Brother Hank Duvall will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home. PDF Printable Version
