Laura Ann Padovano, 59, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. The daughter of Anthony C. and Helen I. Edwards Riek, she was born April 15, 1963, in Pensacola, FL. She was an Arkansas Tech University graduate and worked as a bookkeeper. She had attended Annapolis Naval Academy for two years and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafting, spending time outdoors, and was a low-key hippy. She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Padovano and her father.\n\nShe is survived by her daughter, Morgan Frazier of Russellville; four stepchildren, Victoria Kidd, Samantha, Robert and Jimmy Padovano; her mother, Helen Riek of Russellville, a brother, Steven Riek (Sila) of Russellville; aunt, Cathy Edder and a cousin, Kay Bruning of Russellville.\n\nA memorial Service will be held at a later date. A private committal service will be held at the new Chapel of Light at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center by Humphrey Funeral Service.
