Lauren Rebecca Weeks Obituary (1988

Lauren Rebecca Weeks, age 13, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Friday, February 1, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. She was born on October 8, 1988 in Columbus, MS, to Marvin and Rebecca (Pauley) Weeks Lauren was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Russellville and was a member of the Servants of Our Saviour Youth Group. Lauren attended elementary school at Center Valley School and was a 7th. grader at Russellville Middle School where she was a flute player in the school band and was a member of the 6th. Grade Choir. She had played recreational soccer since she was 5 years old and loved to play goalie on her soccer team. She loved her friends and was caring, loving and compassionate to everyone she met. She was a piano player and student of Brian Faulkner and was a flute student of Kim Parker. Lauren was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew L. Weeks. Survivors include her parents, Len and Becky Weeks of Russellville; paternal grandparents, Marvin L. And Helen Weeks, Sr. of Panama City Beach; maternal grandparents, L. Edward and Harriet Pauley of Panama City Beach; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be 4 P.M. Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at the St. John's Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Darrell Kobs. Burial will be at the Roselawn Cemetery at Tallahassee, Florida under the direction of Culley Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
