Lester Lee Williams

Lester Lee Williams, age 93, a resident of Russellville, died Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock. He was born on October 29, 1906 at Jerusalem, Arkansas, to George and Ellie Beavers Williams. He married Lena Overton on October 28, 1927 at Jerusalem. He was a retired custodian having worked in the public schools in Wyoming and People's Bank in Russellville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons and 1 daughter, and by seven of his siblings. He was a member of the West Side Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Williams of Russellville; one son and daughter in law, Ken and Barbara Williams of St. Joseph; a sister, Perlene Brents of Morrilton; 8 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2000 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Mr. Dan Lightfoot and by Mr. Bruce Grice. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to West Side Church of Christ, P O Box 1084, Russellville, AR 72811 for the Student Center Building Fund or Camp Caudle Christian Camp.
