Lexie Smith Roland, 40, passed away from complications of diabetes, on Monday, February 08, 2021 at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. She was born on August 29, 1980 in Russellville. She was a 1998 graduate of Pottsville High School and graduated Arkansas Tech University with a B.A. in Psychology. Lexie's beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be missed by many.\n\nLexie is preceded in death by her dad, David Smith of Tulsa, OK; her step father, Jack Cossey of Pottsville; grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.\n\nSurvivors include her mother, Patricia Cossey of Pottsville; a daughter, Vanessa Bradley; two sons, Tanner Roland and Caleb Blaylock a granddaughter Melody, due in May; a sister, Brandy Smith; step brother, Steve Cossey and a step sister, Keri Cossey Findley; four uncles, Henry Branch (Evelyn) of Texas; Charles Philpott (Pam) of Tulsa, OK; Ellis and Steve Smith of Tulsa, OK; two aunts, Kathy Smith Leland of Wagner, OK; Mary Philpott of Dover; her step grandmother, Gussie Cossey of London and other extended family and cousins.\n\nDue to the Covid Pandemic a celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Per her wishes she will be cremated and interred at Oakland Cemetery in Russellville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center.
