Lisa Newell, 48, of Hector, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at her residence. The daughter of Alfredo Munoz and Mary Venters Melton, she was born April 24, 1959 in St Charles, IL. She attended the Household of Faith Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband Arthur Newell of Hector; five children Amanda Jackson of Loretto, TN, Teresa Robertson of Loretto, TN, Diana Sanchez of Loretta, TN, Aaron Newell of Hector, and A.J. Newell of Hector; one sister Cheryl Jenks of Graston, WI; seven brothers Alfredo Munoz of Cobden, IL, John Munoz of Norris City, IL, Brian Curtner of Fairfield, IL, Phillip Curtner of Henderson, KY, Bobby Munoz of NC, Joey Munoz of McAllen, TX, and Ricky Munoz of McAllen, TX eight grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:00pm Saturday, April 28, 2007 at MT Vernon Freewill Baptist Church with Brother A.J. Newell officiating. Burial will be at Old Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be Friday 6-8pm at the funeral home. PDF Printable Version
