Lissie Dale Moss, 100, of Plainview, died Friday, September 9, 2005 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. The daughter of Ship and Dosha Qualls Reed, she was born July 10, 1905 in Sims, Arkansas. She was a Homemaker. She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church in Plainview for over 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Moss, her parents, a brother Darrell Reed and a sister, Ethel Mayberry and two infant sisters. She is survived by 5 generations numbering 126 direct descendents including a son Earnest Moss, Plainview; three daughters, Virginia Ferguson, McCamey, TX, Imogene Norwood, Ola and Jewell Minnie, Plainview; 23 Grandchildren; 55 Great Grandchildren; 41 great great grandchildren; 3 great great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 2 pm Monday, September 12, 2005 at Jesus Name Church. Rev. Wilma Whorton and Mr. Roy Highfill will officiate. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery at Plainview by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. PDF Printable Version
