Lovella Louise Loyd Obituary (1932

Lovella Louise Loyd, 74, of Russellville, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of George and Josephine (Tagmeyer) Felzien, she was born February 8, 1932 in St. Francis, Kansas. She worked for over 35 years in the nursery at St. Mary's Hospital where she was affectionately known as "Granny Loyd." She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dale Loyd ; her parents; one sister, Loraine Fenner; and one brother, Martin Felzien. Survivors include one son, James Victor Loyd of Russellville; two daughters, Margaret Campbell of London, Elizabeth Taylor of Pottsville; seven grandchildren, Lynnett Haney of London, Rachel Burke of Siloam Springs, Michael Campbell of London, Michele Taylor of Russellville, Katie Loyd of Dover, Allison Loyd of Dover, Christopher Loyd of Dover; two great grandchildren; one sister, Lavina Yoder of Kingman, Kansas; one brother, Jalmer Felzien of Wichita, Kansas. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Rob Garrison, Dr. Finley Turner, and the staff of St. Mary's ICU for their care and compassion. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Darrell Kobs officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover. PDF Printable Version
