Mrs Madgelene Ruth Yendrek Obituary (1930

Madgelene Ruth Yendrek, age 87, entered heaven on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Madgelene was born in Russellville, AR on May 7, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Newt and Ruby Parks, her husband Louis Yendrek, her brother and sister in law Edward and Rebekah Parks. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Malinda Patrick and her husband Larry, her son Ed Yendrek and his wife Sheri, along with eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. After graduating from Russellville High School, Madge married Louis Yendrek June 6, 1948. Soon after their marriage Louis began Bible College, preparing to be a minister. Madge and Louis pastored churches for nearly 40 years in North New Hope, Dyess, West Helena and Forrest City, Arkansas as well as Linton, Indiana before retiring in Russellville. Madge was a beloved friend and mentor to many. She loved visiting people in the congregations she and Louis served. She shared her love for music, with those friends, by singing in choirs and many musical groups and playing the piano for church services. Madge loved Jesus her whole life. She was always involved in her church by teaching classes, quilting to raise money for missions and serving people wherever there was a need. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7th at 1:00 at Humphrey Funeral Home, 2801 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801.
