Majorie Ruth Rader Obituary (1933

Marjorie Ruth Rader, 71, of Russellville, died Friday, August 5, 2005 at Russellville Nursing Center. The daughter of Melvin and Gladys (Hansen) Ford, she was born December 16, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a 1951 graduate of Castleman High School in Detroit and she attended Coolidge College also in Detroit. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Rader on October 2, 1954. The family moved to Russellville in 1989. She was a member of the Women's auxiliary of the Rogers Rye Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the London Extension Home Makers. She was active at the Pope County Senior Citizens Center and was a member of the London Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Rader and also by her parents and a son, Craig Rader. She is survived by a son, Chris Rader, Lake Isabella, MI; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Randall Roberts, Dover; five grandchildren, Mindy Wiser, Russellville, Robin Rader, Mt. Pleasant, MI, Sean Rader, Mt. Pleasant, MI, Sarah Rader, Detour Village, MI, Lori Simpson, Dover, three great grandchildren, Tyler Brashear, Russellville, Morgan Brashear, Russellville, Jonathan Lawson, Mt. Pleasant, MI; a sister, Nancy McIlarige and her husband Frank, Caseville, MI. Funeral will be at 10:00 AM Monday, August 8, 2005 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Danny Green will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove at Hector by Humphrey Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Steve May, Willie Sherman, Maynard Gordon, A. M. Armstrong, Johnny Johnson and Walter Hartfield. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Rogers Rye Post #2283 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Military Honors Squadron. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6:00 pm at the funeral home. PDF Printable Version
