Marian Elizabeth Cheatwood

Marian Elizabeth Cheatwood, 98, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Legacy Heights Nursing Home in Russellville. The daughter of Marion and Anna Wood Middleton, she was born June 25, 1917 in Little Rock, AR. Upon Graduation from high school she received a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Her family did not have a car available so, she was unable to attend. Marian moved to Washington D.C. during World War II and worked helping with the war effort. She enjoyed playing golf especially with her husband. Marian was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Cheatwood.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jacki McLean & husband Neil of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Amber Mullis & husband Scott of Pottsville; one son, Stephen Cheatwood & wife Cindy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Amber McNutt, Kathleen Gochnauer, Jacque Black, Sarah Wormington, Anna Hamilton, Madeline and John Mullis; eight great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at

Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas by Humphrey Funeral Service.
