Live stream will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 5th on our facebook page.\n\nMary Ann Grice, 62, of Bentonville, formerly of Russellville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of Audie and Blanche (Baird) Oldham, she was born December 24, 1957 in Russellville. She was a 1979 graduate of Arkansas Tech University and earned her master's degree in Education at the University of Central Arkansas. She married Bruce Grice on June 29th, 1991 in North Little Rock. They were members of the West Side Church of Christ where Bruce served as a minister and Mary worked in the nursery and was also a member of the West Side Chorale.\n\nMary started teaching in 1980 and taught grades Kindergarten through 12th impacting the lives of many children and parents at several different schools throughout Arkansas. In 1995 Mary became a Sequoyah Elementary teacher where she taught the students of 2nd and 4th grade until her retirement in 2018.\n\nShe was a member and past president of the Russellville Band Boosters, a member of The Sequoyah Parent Teacher Organization and volunteered at Center for The Arts and the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She enjoyed spending time with friends, her dog, Fred, reading, going to movies and plays, and especially spending time with family.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Lee Grice; and her parents.\n\nMary was the loving mother of Erin Putman and husband Cory of Bentonville; her son, Brandon Grice and wife Lizzy of Russellville. She was a caring sister to Carolyn Burt and husband Oran of North Little Rock and Jeanette Watts and husband Don of Russellville; She was also very close to the rest of her family including her niece Jenifer Hurt and husband Brian of Russellville; nephew, Jason Burt and wife Renada of Little Rock; as well as two dear friends, Tammy Higdon of Little Rock and Silvina Garcia of Russellville; and numerous extended family and friends.\n\nMary will be remembered for many things but among them will be a servant heart, thoughtfulness that went above and beyond and a smile and laugh that lit up the room.\n\nGraveside service will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.\n\nA private Memorial Service will be held before the graveside on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Live stream will be available on the Humphrey Funeral Facebook page.\n\nTim Tripp, Oran Burt and Josh Clem will officiate.\n\nHonorary pallbearers are R.D.
