Russellville, Arkansas
With a heavy heart, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Mary Frances Grigsby on December 7, 2025. Born to Ray and Jewel Vick on November 20, 1934, in Russellville, Mary spent most of her 91 years in the same county she was born in, touching lives with her spirited charm and her unwavering faith.
Mary was dedicated in all aspects of her life. As a homemaker and truck driver, she worked tirelessly, demonstrating her commitment not only to her profession but also to her family. Mary was always there for us, her loving nature was the backbone of our family. Her intelligence was evident in her ability to juggle different roles while keeping her faith and family at the forefront. As my mother, she taught me the importance of a strong work ethic, the value of faith, and the power of love. She was a woman of the Assembly of God faith and lived by the verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and faithfulness to those who survive her: her daughter, Debbie Grigsby; her grandchildren, Mindy Rapp, Bronson (Shawn) Clayton, Larry Cossey, Beckie (Larry) Dixon, Travis Clayton, and Trevor Clayton, eight great-grandchildren, and twelve great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Jewel Vick; her husband, Homer Grigsby; her daughter, Janet (Jimmy - deceased) Smith; and her sister, Phyllis (Larry - deceased) Freeman.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Rev. Robert Heflin will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Larry Dixon, Colton Dixon, Chance Rapp, Shawn Grigsby, Bronson Clayton, & Larry Cossey.
