Our shining star Mary Dean "Oscar'' Guenard (Andrews) left this world on Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and fun-loving soul that will never be forgotten by so many. There was never a hug she wouldn't give or words of wisdom she wouldn't speak. She loved spending time with family and friends and was a ray of bright sunlight to those she loved. There was never a stranger that crossed her path. Always making forever friends on their adventures. Her pets were more like her children, spoiled rotten. Her most peaceful moments were spent outside with her loved ones enjoying a bonfire or on the water. She leaves behind an adoring husband, Newton Guenard; a son, Dustin Crowe and wife Jessica Crowe, a daughter, Kiana James and partner Brian Sullins; a stepson, Rusty Guenard; a stepdaughter, Hillary Guenard and fiance Jeff Larey; 5 grandchildren, Eleanor, Alice, River, Emery, and Jackson, and another baby boy Ridge on the way. She also leaves behind a sister, Diana Branch, and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that she made across the country on her travels. She is preceded in death by her parents Doyal Dean and Alice Faye Andrews, and her brother, Mike Andrews. We rejoice in knowing she is reunited with their souls on the other side and is at peace.\n\nA Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday.
