Mary LaFave, 72, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, January 14, 2021. The daughter of Jewell Moss and Ada Lee (Chesney) Moss, she was born in Danville, AR. She married John LaFave, on December 19, 1971 at Plainview. She was a member of New Life Church in Russellville. She was a ConAgra employee for 40 years, working as the thrift store manager until her retirement. She most recently worked for Dream Designz Salon in Russellville. She enjoyed playing in her bowling league, watching her grandchildren play sports, and especially spending time with family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, "me me", sister, and friend.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her her parents; brother, J.L. Moss; sister, Iva Nell Reeves, Jo Ellen Roberson.\n\nSurvivors include her loving husband of 50 years, John LaFave; daughter, Kim Freeman and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Matt Freeman and wife Daphne, all of Russellville, Mason Freeman and wife Brandie of Centerville; and Kinslee Freeman of Russellville; great-grandchildren, Rachel Freeman, Kutler Freeman, and Easton Mourot; three sisters, Sue Gowen and husband Larry of Fayetteville, LaVada Padgett and husband Elmer and Linda Burnham and husband Don, both Russellville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.\n\nFuneral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Salem Cemetery in Plainview by Humphrey Funeral Service.
