Mary Ann Rodgers

Mary Ann Rodgers, 103, of Ola, AR, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. The daughter of Aaron and Nancy Elizabeth Sullivan George, she was born November 17, 1907 in Chickalah, AR. Mary was a Homemaker and a charter member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Birta. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Ira Edwin Rodgers; son, Edwin Carroll Rodgers; daughter, Jaunell Neuhart.
Left to cherish her memory are son Buddy Rodgers & wife Carol Ann of Russellville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 29 great great grandchildren, three great great great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Funeral will be at 10:00AM, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Birta Missionary Baptist Church. Jon Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be at Birta Cemetery in Birta, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Monday, at the funeral home.
