Melinda Ruth (Huitt) Robbins Obituary (1967 - 2022)

Melinda Robbins, 55, of Holts Summit, MO, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO. The daughter of John and Mary Lou Smith Huitt, she was born February 11, 1967 in Big Spring, TX. She married William Rance Robbins, on September 2, 2014 at Russellville, Arkansas. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Melinda attended the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her greatest joy were her grandchildren and she loved animals and leaves behind her cat, Cleo, her puppy Duce and a coop full of chickens that all have names. She was preceded in death by her parents. Melinda is survived by her husband, W. Rance Robbins, Holts Summit, MO; two sons, Jemi Smith (Brittany), Fort Worth, TX; Tyler Robbins (Robyn), Dover; a daughter, Jessica Filidei (Christopher), Texas City, Tx; eight grandchildren, Tayven, Kami and Brooklyn Smith; Peyton Walterscheid; Ava and Holden Robbins; Ellie and Presley Filidei; three sisters, Mickey Hammack (Ralph), Harper, TX; Mary Ann Anderson and Margaret Huitt both of Weatherford, TX; two brothers, Rickey and Randy Huitt of Weatherford, TX Graveside Service and burial will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Pollard Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service.
