Melvin "Sonny" Savage

Melvin "Sonny" Savage, 74, of Russellville, passed away, Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home. The son of Daniel and Goldie Inez Standridge Savage, he was born July 17, 1946 in Russellville. Sonny will be remembered as a loving brother and wonderful friend.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, S.G. Manley; a brother, Jimmy Savage and two sisters, Bonnie Savage and Onvillee Parker.

Left to cherish Sonny's memory include four brothers, Donald, Danny, Larry and wife Phylis, all of Russellville; Ronnie and wife Kitty of Pottsville; two sisters, Juanita Spears (Harvey); Linda Snoddy both of Russellville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service and burial will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Bethel Cemetery in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Johnny McCoy will officiate.
