Dr. Michael Michael Duran Obituary (1973

Dr. Michael A. Duran, 30, of Russellville, AR, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at Russellville. The son of Fabricio and Karen Fults Duran, he was born January 31, 1973 in Anchorage, Alaska. He joined the Army National Guard in 1991 and served until 1997. He was a 1991 graduate of Russellville High School, and received his B.S. from Arkansas Tech University in 1995. He attended the University of Tennessee Dental School, graduating in 1999 and opened his practice in Russellville the same year. He was a member of the Russellville Morning Rotary Club and the Arkansas State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Crews Duran, of Russellville; two children, William Michael and Katie Lynn Duran of the home; his parents, Fabricio and Karen Fults Duran of Manitowoc; two brothers, Arthur Duran of Ashland and Eduard Duran of Normal; maternal grandmother, Jean Barnes, of Arizona; two sisters, Sylvia Duran Hines and Victoria Protheroe of Russellville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, April 25, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Mackey Yokem and Rev. Danny Fudge. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
