Monnie Boyce George Obituary (1923

Boyce George, 81, of Birta, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2005 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. The daughter of Alec and Rilla (Boyce) McCoy, she was born March 20, 1923 in Dardanelle. She married Marlin George, on May 15, 1942 at Birta. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a homemaker. She was a member of the Casa First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Flavel Marlin George; two brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Marlin George of Birta, Arkansas; one daughter, Nancy Young and husband John of Birta, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Kathy Turner and husband Chad of Birta, Arkansas; two great granddaughters, Ashley and Calee Turner of Birta, Arkansas; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Casa with Bro. Don Robinson and Bro. Jack Bean officiating. Burial will be at Birta Cemetery at Birta, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
