Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Rev. and Mrs. Raymond (Velma) Brooks, and four brothers, Herman, J.R., Gene and Eldon Brooks.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 29th at 10:am at the First United Methodist church in Russellville. Burial will immediately follow at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
Through the past year of frequent doctor's visits, Nancy fought cancer bravely. She loved her family dearly, and wanted to spend as much time as possible with them.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Arkansas Hospice for the River Valley Center, 2405 E. Parkway, Russellville, AR, 72802. Nancy volunteered with Hospice, and the group allowed her the freedom to pass away in her own bed in a room filled with people who loved her.
