Ottis F. Barton, 83, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 20, 1940, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Dee and Alice Barton. Ottis dedicated his career to working as a Dump Truck Driver. His life was marked by the significant achievement of being a devoted husband and father to his two daughters. Additionally, he was an active member of both the Limousine Cattle Association and the Goldwing Motorcycle Club, finding great pleasure in activities such as cattle farming, bowling, motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, as well as building and flying model airplanes. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Diana Faye Barton, and his parents.\n\nOttis is survived by his two daughters, Angela Campbell (Barry) and Tanya Moody (Ron), both of Russellville; four grandchildren: Jonathan Campbell (Haley) from Greenbriar, Kristi Campbell from Little Rock, Austin Moody (Sandy) from Pottsville, and Courtney Chastun (Shaun) from Russellville; two great-grandchildren, Berkeley Campbell, from Greenbriar, Haley Chastun of Russellville; and two brothers, E.J. Barton (Glenda) and Bill Barton (Carole), both from Russellville.\n\nA memorial service to honor Ottis's life will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Humphrey Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Danny Paul. Family and friends are invited to visit and offer their condolences on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice, CARTI, or the American Cancer Society in Pope County.
