Patricia Joan (Wright) LaRue Obituary (1935

Patricia Joan LaRue, 86, of Paris, formerly of Dover, died Monday, January 10, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Paris. The daughter of Matt and Beady Wooten Wright, she was born January 20, 1935 in Russellville. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. Rev. Clint Craig, Rev. Terry Duvall, and Rev. Jackie Pledger will officiate. Burial will be at Pollard Cemetery in Dover, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home. She was a Cake Decorator with Dover Super Market and a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God where she served as church secretary and taught Sunday School. Pat will be remembered as a loving mother and nana to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed writing the LaRue Ridge Community news for the Dover Times, driving and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Don Evert LaRue; her parents; her daughter, Retha LaRue; a great granddaughter, Rowan Noble; a sister, Allene Smith; a daughter in law, Thula LaRue and a son in law, Larry Rentfro. Survivors include three daughters, Donella Willis (Danny) of Dover; Denise Duvall (Terry) of Moreland; Tina Smith (Mark) of Dover; a son, Rick LaRue (Rhonda) of Dover; a bonus Daughter Janice Meimerstorf (Tim) of Russellville; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
