Patricia Jean (Horning) McCammon, 76, of Russellville, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 in Russellville. She was born on July 27, 1946 in San Francisco, CA to SGT David J. Horning and his wife Dorothy. She was the second of eight children and the oldest daughter. She graduated from Central High School in South Bend, IN in 1964. She married her husband Richard McCammon in 1970 and was a Navy wife for the next seventeen years.

After retiring from the Navy, she and Richard settled in Russellville where she worked for Fellowship Christian School as the secretary. All the children loved "Miss Pat" and she loved them back and was always a willing listener to anything they wanted to tell her.

Later Patricia went to work at ATU's Career Services Office and was always thrilled to see one of "her kids" come through and have a chance to see how they were doing. Patricia later worked in the budget office at ATU. She also worked for a time at the Russellville Walmart in the pharmacy and enjoyed her time there, again talking to people and helping them where she could.

Survivors include her husband, Richard McCammon; her daughter, Michelle; her son Robert; her grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey, Alannah, Haley, JJ, Austin, and Zackery; three sisters, Carol, Virginia, and Sue; three brothers, Daniel, David, and Doug; and numerous extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas McCammon; and brother, Michael Horning.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Humphrey

Chapel in Russellville. Rev. Robert Heflin and Al Brown will officiate. Pallbearers are Danny Sthal, Jim Constatin, Rocky Jones, Dan Horning, Randy Stayton, and Rex Surrette. Honorary pallbearer is Robert McCammon. Burial will be at Center Valley Memorial Gardens by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
