Patricia Ann (Bourgeois) Wilcox Obituary (1933 - 2022)

Patricia Ann Wilcox, age 89, died on May 13, 2022, in Russellville, Arkansas, formerly of North Muskegon, Michigan and Garland, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service and the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center in Russellville. Patricia was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 22, 1933, to John and Bessie Bourgeois, who preceded her in death. She was one of five children, including brothers Joseph "Jerry," Lawrence "Larry," and Edward "Eddie," and her sister, Judith. Her brother Jerry died in 2008. She married Jack M. Wilcox on September 7, 1952, in Detroit, MI. She is survived by her children, Chris (William) Patterson of Muskegon, MI; Jack (Vicky) Wilcox of Conroe, TX; and Vicki (Kyle) Horton of Garland, TX; grandchildren William, Anne, Kathryn, Heather, Jeremy, Colin, and Alec, and several great-grandchildren. Patricia was very proud of her Cajun heritage and loved to knit, complete crossword puzzles, and play cards. She loved music and played piano for her own enjoyment, preferring classical to other genres. She enjoyed the company of her beloved cairn terriers, who were all waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan. The family requests donations to local animal shelters in her name.
