Pirley Harris Ledford Obituary (1948 - 2015)

Pirley Harris Ledford, 66, of London, AR, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home in London. The daughter of Bert and Dora Cowan Harris, she was born June 17, 1948 in Mulberry, AR. She enjoyed rescuing animals of any kind and chatting with her facebook friends. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her wonderful children and grandchildren which, she always enjoyed spending time with. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Dean Ledford; siblings, Gurvis Lee (Bodie) Harris & Dow (JD) Cowan. Survivors include her seven children, Connie Ragsdale of Dover, Johnny Dale Ragsdale (Shery) of Dover, Kathy Snow (Doug) of London, Gary Ledford (Tanyia) of Clarksville, Sherry Hays (Dave) of Hot Springs, Amanda Stone (Marc) of Lamar, Tina Palczynski (Jason) of Russellville; 13 grandkids, Vanessa Ragsdale, Xzavier Lay, Hannah Garnon (Robert), Drake Davis, Laura Estes (Doug), Matt Snow (Sarah Jane), Jaylon Snow, Ralph Reid IV, William Reid, Tyler (Ty) Reid, Shaina Ledford, Brandy & Jade Hays; six great grandchildren, Gavin & Bentley Hampton, Eastyn, Emersyn, and Everett Estes, Blake Reid; six siblings, Allen D. Harris (Connie), Lucille Burton, Mary Ledford (Gerald), Shirley Mason (Jesse), Jeanie Tovar (Selso), Joyce Haines; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev Don Erwin will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Pirley Ledford Memorial Fund at Centennial Bank, 2701 West Main St., Russellville, AR 72801. Pallbearers are Dan Utley, Michael Alexander, Danny Joe Parker, Walter Adney, Joe Hampton, Kenny Summers. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny L.
