Redmond Eubanks Obituary (1931 - 2014)

The Reverend Redmond Eubanks, 82, of Dover, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Ft. Smith. The son of James and Anna Carolyn Dare Eubanks, he was born February 22, 1931 in Rushing Township outside of Dover. He married Benita Marie Eubanks, on August 17, 1992 in Russellville. He was a member of the House of Praise in Russellville and the Oakland Street Full Gospel Church in Clarksville. He enjoyed reading, raising cattle, farming, cracking pecans, vegetable gardening and watching razorback football. Reverend Eubanks passion was for ministry and even as it became difficult for him to walk he always answered the call when he was needed. His presence will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Willis Eubanks; daughter, Helen Ann Eubanks; his parents; and son-in-law, Henry William Schembra. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Benita Eubanks of Dover; four children, Mary Jean Schembra and the late Henry William Schembra, Charles Wayne Eubanks and wife, Daysi of Fort Smith, Judith Lynn Benn and husband, Darrell of Dover and Janet Sue Dove and husband, Richard of Little Rock; 22 grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. Graveside service will be conducted at 2PM, Monday, January 13, 2014 at Rushing Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev John Eubanks and Rev Charlie Casto will officiate.
