Mr. Robert Lee Harris Sr Obituary (1939

Robert Lee "Mr. Bob" Harris, 78, of Russellville, entered eternity, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Reg. Med. Center in Russellville. The son of Andrew Jackson and Artie Mae Beavers Harris, he was born January 13, 1939 in Pottsville and was a Russellville High School graduate. He married Carolyn Joyce Moore, on June 17, 1962 at Russellville First Assembly of God. He was a retired United States Air Force Veteran serving in Viet Nam and a Custodian with Russellville School District. Robert was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, loving brother. He was a member of the South New Hope Assembly of God where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, western history and travelling. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mildred Fairrell and his step-father, Roy Lee Parks. Robert is survived by his wife Carolyn Harris; two sons, Robert Harris Jr. and Steven Harris (Sharon); a grandson, Steven Nathaniel Harris all of Russellville; a sister Ann Owen (Tommy) of Marshfield, MO. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at South New Hope Assembly of God. Rev. Norman Chenowith and Bro. Tommy Owen will officiate. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
