Robert Louis McCurley, known fondly as Bobby to his friends, passed away on June 30, 2023. Born on January 31, 1956, Robert lived a full and vibrant life, marked by his loving nature, quick wit, and impressive intelligence. A long-time resident of Russellville, Arkansas, Robert's presence will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.\n\nRobert dedicated many years of his life to Sanderson Farms, where he worked diligently as a Maintenance Supervisor. His hard work and keen intellect were greatly valued by his colleagues and the company. After his retirement, Robert indulged in his passions, which included fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, camping, and working in his yard. He was a smart man who always had a funny story to tell and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.\n\nRobert is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn McCurley, whom he married on May 25, 2007. He also leaves behind his daughter, Amanda Willis-Colbert, stepdaughters Susie Brown and Tasha Runnels, four grandsons, as well as his brothers Jesse, Glenn, Jack, and Lyndon McCurley.
