Robert J. Reaves

Robert J. Reaves Jr., 87, of Russellville, passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. The son of Robert Reaves Sr. and Lilie Maye Jackson, he was born April 2, 1931 in England, Arkansas. He married W. Faye TerryReaves, on April 23, 1953 in England. He was a United States Army Veteran of Korea. He was a Department Manager with Safeway and Harvest Foods. He was a member of the Rogers-Rye V.F.W Post 2283, a Cootie and London Ruritan. He was a member of the London First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, knife sharpening and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Letha Reaves and 12 brothers and sisters.

Robert is survived by his wife, W. Faye Reaves of Russellville; three daughters, Renee Reeves of Altus, OK; Lisa Summit of Atkins; Angela Teague of Russellville; three sons, Rickey Reaves of Ft. Worth, TX; Kirk Reaves of Heber Springs; Rocky Reaves of London and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Humphrey Chapel. Donald Harris will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be provided by member of the Veterans of the Foreign Wars Rogers-Rye Post 2283.
