Robert 'Bob' H. Smith

Robert H. 'Bob' Smith, age 75, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Friday, October 11, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born on April 16, 1927 in Pottsville, AR, to the late Glen and Ruth (Lollis) Smith. He married Audra Hardcastle on August 16, 1949 in Russellville, Arkansas. He was an Independant Construction Contractor; a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII; a former volunteer firefighter; charter member of the Pope County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol; and a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville.
Survivors include his wife, Audra Smith of Russellville; one son, Dr. Steve (and Nellie) Smith of Wichita; a grandson, Ryan Micheal Smith of Wichita; a granddaughter, Nicole Rieko Smith of Wichita; a sister and brother in law, Beth and Jan Taylor of Ft. Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2002 at Humphrey Chapel officiated by Dr. Stephen P. Davis. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends Sunday Evening from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
