Ronald D Kendrick, 53, of Pottsville, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. The son of Dale and Carolyn Duffield Kendrick, he was born December 11, 1962 in Russellville. He was a 1981 graduate of\nPottsville High School and attended Arkansas Tech University. He enjoyed pencil sketching, basketball, especially the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and he also had a love for horses. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pottsville and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Luke Duffield, paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Kendrick; and a brother, Roger Kendrick.\n\nHe is survived by 2 sons, Ronald (JR) Kendrick, Jr., Pottsville, Tyler Kendrick, Dardanelle; daughter, Ashtin Kendrick and fiance` Nathan, Russellville; parents, Dale and Carolyn Duffield Kendrick, Pottsville; sister, Kathy Whittington (Barry), Pottsville; brother, Keith Kendrick, Pottsville; grandson, Hudson Pennington, Russellville; nephew, Jake Kendrick, Pottsville.\n\nThe family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Pottsville. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2016 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. David Downum, Rev. Randy Caldwell, and Rev. Jim Huffman will officiate.
