Rowland Clark Obituary (1928

Rowland Clark, 74, of Dover, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellvile, Arkansas. The son of Brooks and Dovie (Matthews) Clark, he was born April 24, 1928 in Lamar, Arkansas. He married Helen Standridge on March 28, 2002 at Russellville, Arkansas. He worked for the U.S. Forestry Service for 27 years and attended Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Dover. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Rosezetta Jones, and his first wife Ruth Clark. Survivors include his wife, Helen Clark, of Dover; one stepdaughter, Connie Fillion and husband Gene of Dover; three stepsons, Allen Standridge of Dover, Carl Standridge and wife Marilyn of Russellville, Kevin Standridge of Dover; his sister's children, Rosemary Gilbraith, Danie Humphrey, Connie Akers, Phillip Humphrey; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Churchat Dover, Arkansas officiated by Reverend Bob Freeman. Burial will be at Annie's Chapel Cemetery at Hagarville, Arkansas under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
