Ruby Lee (Jackson) Henderson Obituary (1929

Ruby Lee Henderson, 93, of Russellville, passed away, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at her home. The daughter of Fred and Josie Gilbreath Jackson, she was born June 22, 1929, in Checotah, OK. She married Johnny N. Henderson, on April 3, 1954, in Seadrift, Texas. Ruby will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the D.A.V ladies Auxiliary and of the Assembly of God faith. She enjoyed cooking, working in her home, mowing the grass, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Danny Ford, and Mike Henderson, and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Henderson, her daughter, Linda Sax Bratton and husband Roy; five grandchildren, Gene and Cynthia Sax, Shantil and Andy Elliott, Alex Green, Samantha Byrd and Lee Bratton, five great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Hottinger. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 30, 2022, at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Robert Heflin, James Sax, and Russell Thomas will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Friday, at the funeral home.
