Ruby Nell (Heathcoat) Martinez Obituary (1941

Ruby Nell Martinez, 79, of Russellville, died Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Stella Manor Nursing Home. A daughter of Otis and Hazel (Price) Heathcoat, she was born July 3, 1941, in Russellville. During her working years, she was a Customer Service Representative with Louis Vuitton, a manufacturer of luggage. She was a member of the Assembly of God faith and enjoyed gardening, reading, and working crossword puzzles. Among the things she enjoyed the most, she loved to cook and listen to southern Gospel music, especially the Gaither music variety. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ruben Martinez; her step-mother, Clara Brown Heathcoat; four brothers: Hershel Heathcoat, Gene Heathcoat, Charles Heathcoat, & Bill Heathcoat; and a sister, Juanita Armstrong. She is survived by her two precious daughters, Pamelyn Martinez of Russellville, and Mindi Benavidez (Fred) of Ontario, California; two wonderful grandchildren: Ethan & Gunnar Benavidez of Ontario; a sister-in-law, Martha Heathcoat; and numerous other nephews & nieces. Mrs. Martinez will be buried next to her husband at Riverside National Cemetery in greater Los Angeles, California.
