Ruth Elizabeth Hefley

Ruth Elizabeth (Baker) Hefley, 86, of Russellville, died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. The daughter of Charlie and Lucy (Rankin) Baker, she was born September 14, 1918 in Russellville, AR. She attended Arkansas Tech University and earned an Associate's Degree in Home Economics. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Russellville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther B. Hefley and was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lucy Hefley; three brothers, Raymond, Rankin and Guy Baker; and one sister, Betsy (Baker) Holland.
She is survived by two sisters, Ila Mae Blair of Russellville, Arkansas, and Lottie (Baker) Keltner of Haskell, Arkansas; seven nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside funeral and burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, April 18, 2005 at Rankin Cemetery in Russellville with Rev. Kenyon Kalvesmaki officiating. Burial will be at Rankin Cemetery at Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
