Sarah Frances Langford of Booneville, formerly of Russellville, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Booneville. The daughter of Willis and Etter Cordelia Warnick Langford, she was born July 26, 1953 in Russellville. Sarah had defied the odds by reaching the age of 65. At birth the doctor told her parents she would not live to be age 3 or 4. She enjoyed working at the sheltered workshop at the Booneville Human Development Center and was a member of the Price Grove\nAssembly of God. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Lorretta Lynn, Collecting Dolls and spending time with family and friends. At a very young age, Sarah learned to ride a bicycle in just one day, which was two days sooner than her sister, Wanda. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, EN2 Richard H. Langford, Sr.; and a nephew Richard H.\nLangford, Jr.\n\nSarah is survived by a sister, Wanda Smith (Jack), Barling; four aunts, Louise Barton, Russellville; \n Katherine Cochran, Hector; Mary Branch (Jerry), Atkins; Margaret Duvall, Russellville; a host of cousins; a best friend, Ruby Morgan, Booneville and a host of peers of BHDC. \n\nFuneral Service and burial will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Goates\nCemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. Rev. Jerry Patton will officiate. \nVisitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
