Sheila Kay Dacus Pogue Obituary (1946 - 2014)

Sheila Kay Dacus Pogue, 67, of Casa, AR, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, AR. The daughter of William Luttrell and Reba June Coats Tippit, she was born November 19, 1946 in Morrilton, AR. She married Fred Pogue, on October 19, 1974 in North Little Rock, AR. She attended Casa Church of Christ. Kay enjoyed flower gardening, making arts and crafts, reading and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her fathers, William Luttrell and Hollis Tippit; two sisters, Jan Payne and Marla Compton; one brother, Kerry Luttrell. Left to cherish her memory husband, Fred Pogue of Casa; two sons, Jeff Dacus (Dessie Renee) of Dardanelle, Dale Payne of Casa; mother, Reba June Tippit of Casa; four grandchildren, Zava Payne, Kyra Payne, Dylan Brixey, Justin Dacus; one brother, Joel Tippit (Ginger)of Russellville. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Casa Cemetery in Casa, AR. Burial will follow under the direct of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Southern Christian Children's Home, P.O. Box 649, Morrilton 72110.
