Shelli Stewart Lamberson, age 26, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Baptist Hospital at Little Rock, AR. She was born on May 15, 1975 at Russellville, AR, to Vernon and Anna Jean Willis Stewart. She married Chris Lamberson on May 22, 1998 at Clarksville, AR. She was a Psychological Examiner with University of the Ozarks & Dover Public Schools. She had a deep compassion and genuine concern for the needs and well-being of the students with whom she worked.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John & Lucille Willis and her paternal grandparents Vernon & Inez Stewart. She graduated cum laude from Arkansas Tech University & received her Masters degree from University of Central Arkansas. She was a member of the Arkansas School Psychologists Association, National Association of School Psychologists, worked in Autism research and therapy and the West Side Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Chris Lamberson of Russellville; her parents, Vernon and Anna Stewart of Dover; one brother and sister in law, Tim and Sherry Stewart of Farmington; two sisters and brothers in law, Sharla and Eric Hartzell of Dover, Kelly and Tim Whitson of Fayetteville; her father in law and mother in law, Dale and Lynda Lamberson of Dover; three nieces, Shelby and Gracie Hartzell of Dover, Ashley Brewer of Fayetteville; two nephews, Jake Brewer of Fayetteville, Wade Lamberson of Russellville; one brother in law and his spouse, Kyle and Kelli Lamberson of Russellville; grandmother in law, Lucille Vines of Dover; great aunt and uncle, Harold and Juanita Willis of Freemont; two uncles and their spouses, Johnny L. and Dorothy Willis of Tacoma, James Willis of Russellville; two aunts and their spouses, Etta and Eugene King of Ft. Smith, Evelyn and Ross Clifton of Van Buren; many other family and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2001 at the Westside Church of Christ officiated by Mr. Jeff Richardson and Mr. Bruce Grice. Burial will be at the Minnow Creek Cemetery at Minnow Creek Community, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
