Rev. Gladys Findley-Jones, 90, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord, on Friday, May 27, 2016, heaven just gained another angel. A daughter of Ernest and Lawdrey Curtis Collins, she was born September 25, 1925, in Pottsville.\n\nShe was saved at the age of 12 at Bethel Assembly of God. She and the Rev. L. B. Findley were married on May 10, 1941, and spent 42 years together in ministry in the Assemblies of God. After the Rev. Findley passed away on January 16, 1983, she married Glenn Jones who passed way in 2002.\n\nShe was a member of the Restoration Worship Center where she enjoyed teaching the Word of God, singing and preaching the gospel of her Lord, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her kids, grandchildren, friends and anyone who was sick, studying the Word of God and singing. \n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, the Rev. L. B. Findley; her second husband, Glenn Jones; and a son, Paul Findley.\n\nShe is survived by three sons, the Rev. James Findley (Shelba), the Rev. Randy Findley (Liz), both of Russellville, and the Rev. Danny Findley (Debra) of Hot Springs; a daughter, C. J. Chilcoat of Russellville; grandchildren, the Rev. Scott Findley (Audra) of Russellville, Melissa Oates (Leslie) of Pottsville, Ron Findley (Rhonda) of Springdale, Brandi Jones (Shane) of Pottsville, Daranda Golden (Jason) of Russellville, Darren Findley (Brecken) of Russellville, P.J. Murders (Maggie) of Bentonville, Stacie Murders of Fayetteville, Chad Findley, Bryce Chilcoat (Amanda), and Ty Chilcoat, all of Russellville, and Josh and Stevie; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Tipton of Stockton, CA and Patsy White of Russellville.\n\nThe family will hold a memorial service at 10:00AM, Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Restoration Worship Center, 2349 South Elmira, Russellville. Rev. James Findley, Rev. Danny Findley, Rev. Randy Findley & C. J. Chilcoat and Rev. Scott Findley will officiate.
