Steve Huett

Steve Huett, 70, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his home. The son of Eugene “Bernie” Huett and Betty Jean (Johnson) Huett, he was born May 21, 1956, in North Chicago, Illinois.

Steve attended Arkansas Tech University and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed a successful career as an account executive with Entergy. Affectionately known as “Poppy,” Steve was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His family was an important part of his life, and he leaves behind many cherished memories with those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene “Bernie” Huett.

Survivors include his two children, Justin Huett and wife Savannah of Benton, and Angie Dunlap and husband Andy of El Paso; his mother, Betty Huett of Russellville; eight grandchildren; his three siblings, Greg Huett and wife Jamie of Springdale, Sandy Green and husband Kenny of Greenwood, and Susan Kitchens and husband Buzz of Russellville; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Humphrey Chapel, with arrangements under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 27, PO Box 10275, Russellville, AR 72812.
