Van Edwin Weir

Ed Weir, 73, of Russellville, Arkansas died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The son of David and Otha (Judkins) Weir, he was born November 11, 1930 in Russellville. Ed was retired from International Shoe Company and was a member of the Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, David Weir, and one brother, Carroll Weir.
He is survived by his mother, Otha Weir of Russellville; one sister and her husband, Wanda and James McGuire of Russellville; one niece, Jamie McCaslin of Russellville; and one great nephew, Phillip McCaslin of Russellville.
Funeral will be at 10 AM Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. A.E. "Bo" Coffman will officiate. Burial will be at Old Baptist Cemetary at Russellville, Arkansas by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
