Rev Vernon 'Bud' Nordin Obituary (1923

Rev. Vernon 'Bud' Nordin, age 77, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at Russellville, AR. He was born on July 9, 1923 at London, AR, to the late George and Myrtle Ashmore Nordin. He married Eula Mae Virden on February 28, 1948 at Russellville, Arkansas. He was retired from International Shoe Company at Russellville, AR. Bud was currently employed with Cogswell Motors. He was preceded in death by a brother John D. Nordin, and a sister Margie Yow. He was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae Virden Nordin of Russellville; two sons and a daughter in law, Ronnie Durl Nordin of Russellville, Donnie Earl and Julie Nordin of Russellville; five grandchildren, Amanda Paterak of Russellville, Deidre Prysock of Russellville, Joe Watts of Hector, Jessica Nordin of Russellville, Whitney Nordin of Russellville; one sister and brother in law, Martha and Raymond Duvall of Sand Springs; one sister in law, Mrs. John D. Nordin of Moreland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. A. E. Bo Coffman and Rev. Terry Latham. Burial will be at the Paschal cemetery at Moreland, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00 PM Tuesday. PDF Printable Version
