Vida Marie Blythe

Vida Marie Blythe, 79, of Plainview, AR, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Residence in Plainview, AR. The daughter of Roy and Cora Mae Brown Moore, she was born December 28, 1930 in Aplin, AR. She was a chicken grower for Tyson Industries for over 18 years. She was a member of Valley Home Missionary Baptist Church. Vida was an accomplished hunter and fisherman. She always enjoyed going camping, gardening, working in her flower beds and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Opal Harold Blythe; brother, Hebert Lee Moore; sister Mattie Mae Moore Barrow.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Phyllis Orrell & husband Doyle of Hollis; 6 grandchildren, Russell Orrell of Hollis, Alisha Ragsdale & husband Chris of Story, Derrick Orrell & wife Stephanie of Centerville, Brandon Orrell of Carter Cove, great grandson Bryce Ragsdale of Story; great granddaughter, Isabella Orrell of Centerville; sister, Ann Humphrey of Hollis.
Funeral will be at 2:00PM, Friday, December 31, 2010 at Valley Home Missionary Baptist. Reverend Jimmy Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Nooner Cemetery in Hollis, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home.
