Vida Robinson Obituary (1915

Vida Robinson, born August 22, 1915 died October 21, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband Opal, her parents, a daughter, two granddaughters, and one grandson. She was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She was born to the late J.R. Whitfield and Kathryn Wade Whitfield. She married Opal Robinson on December 22, 1930. She is survived by 3 sons and 5 daughters; Bobby Robinson and wife Pat of Hartford, Arkansas, Shelby Robinson and wife Teressa of Lamar, Arkansas, Stanley Robinson and wife Johnice of Farmersville, California, Juanita Jeffers and husband Bobby of Cottonport, Louisiana, Verna Mae Westcott of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Louise Terry of Dinuba, California, Imogene Westcott and husband Waymon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Faye Parker and husband Ronald of Hurst, Texas; seventeen grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Taylor of Dardanelle, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 10:00a.m. Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. Reverend Eddie Rogers will be officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 8:00pm at Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville. Burial will be at the Fitch Cemetery in Casa, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ricky Westcott, Doug Robinson, Michael Parker, Brent Robinson, David Willis, and Rusty Evans.
