Wanda Page

Wanda Page, 92, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Russellville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green, Kentucky. The daughter of Rufus and Chessie (Ross) Mayfield, she was born July 14, 1911 in Branch, Arkansas. She earned a Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University and worked for many years as a first grade teacher in Bowling Green and Warren County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was Presbyterian in faith. She was married to Dr. Tate Cromwell 'Piney' Page, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Margaret Hodge, one sister, Greta Wyatt, and one brother, Graydon Mayfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Jane Woody, Little Rock, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Cary Woody, Arkansas. Funeral will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 5, 2004 at Humphrey Chapel. Burial will be in Hampton Cemetery at Branch, Arkansas by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
