William Oscar Coffman

William Oscar Coffman, 73, of London, AR, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at his home. The son of William and Bealie Dunn Coffman, he was born January 29, 1936 in Dover, AR. He was a United States Army Veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a career military man and retired after 28 years. His was a member of Rogers-Rye Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2283, a 32nd Degree Mason, and member of London Masonic Lodge #339 and Fraternal Order of Eagles. His greatest pride was his home and family. He enjoyed working in the yard. William was an avid fisherman and hunter, he loved the Arkansas outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lilli Christina; son, Patrick William Coffman; brother, Leo Coffman; sister, Louise Madden.
Survivors include son, Anthony Coffman of Russellville; two daughters, Christina Castrat & husband Luis of Conway, SC. and Sylvia Reynolds & husband Douglas of Maumelle, AR.; two grandchildren, Adam Sanders of Conway, SC. and Megan Jones of Columbia, SC.; four sisters Leonia Wyatt of Fort Smith, AR. Nellie Fortier of Sultan, WA., Retha Howell of Little Rock, AR., and Billie Willis of Russellville.

Funeral will be at 3:00pm, Friday, April 24, 2009 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Daniel Green will officiate. Burial will be at Brock Cemetery, London, AR. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday.
